AI is back! Season 8!

Ya! Rite! So long din blog liao… once start is abt AI.. haha wat izzit? wat?!! U nvr heard about AI? Never heard abt American Idol b4…. hmmm… no comment. haha

I just finish watching top 13. Michael Jackson week. I can say that i grew up listen to MJ songs. Well, my dad is not only Elvis’s fan but oso MJ. “Beat It”, “Thriller” and etc.

The top 3 performers i choose basically hv sung those songs i very familiar of & i think tt they done a great job in it. Others, sum of them sung familiar songs but not good enuf.. i will say sum actually spoil or basically have “killed” the songs. sigh!

One spectacular performance on tt nite by Adam. Man… wat a falsetto and arrangement plus the stage walk… the expression & the clothes matches all the song feeling. His voice is kinda unique as well. Looking forward 2 his performance. There’s 2 other great preformances as well. Here the videos!

HTC Touch HD - my next target of phone to replace my current baby…. Current price = RM3k ++ When am i gng 2 get it… either my baby K750i died or the price drop til 2.5k whichever is the earliest.

Like my baby k750i, i have set my eyes on it even b4 it is available in the market. It almost meet all my requirements. And it look so much like iPhone and its better than it oso Don’t u think it look cool haha

I choose it over Iphone is becoz is windows based. Better MP oso. Few things i wish they hv are auto-focus, flash, LED light where my current baby hv posses =P well, i guess nothing is perfect…

Mom’s Day!

Her smile makes my day. I can c tt she smile & laugh fro her heart & she’s none other than my mom. m so happy when she’s is happy. Y? Coz yesterday was her birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

Her past few birthdays is not a very happy celebration due 2 some reason.

But yesterday was great. After Christmas service, i went 2 Desa Sri Hartamas 2 buy her a cake. I hv try da cake b4 during one of my colleague birthday. Is YUMMY! =P Additionally i bought a small cup of Haagen Daaz 4 her as well knowing my mom lov ice-cream very much. Then drive bck home. My family hv went out 2 do some grocery shopping. Quickly i take nap b4 v go out 4 dinner. Tired. Sleep late & wake up early. I think around 3 or 4pm they’re back. I can hear da noises. They switch on da TV 2 watch badminton tournament. I continue sleeping. Around 4pm ++, i woke up 2 watch double final. My mom was very happy coz all Malaysian player won da finals! Ya… my parent r badminton fans & tis is where i kena hit by da virus when m in primary skol. After double match, v went out. My dad bought us 2 NZX. Stil early. Not much 2 c. Except a few stores tt hv capture my attention. Oh ya! There’s CannanLand shop as well.

Then v go 2 SS2 & hv our dinner @ Taiping Ho Chiak Restaurant. Y v choose there? Well, tt’s our hometown. I noe my mom miss da food there. How do i manage 2 find tis place? Thanks 2 mr.google. I stumble it a yr ago & suppose celebrate there last yr. So v went in there. Quite alot of ppl. V look @ da menu & v wan 2 order almost everything but there’s only a few of us… kenot finish lar. haha when v wan 2 order somemore, da bos who takes down our order keep on saying, “later baru order lar. So many food oredi.” haha… but stil v order a lot. Food is quite ok.

Food: O Chien, assam hu, lobak, vege, hu pau, nyonya kari mee & Hor Fun hu wan then tapou popiah & kuih

Drinks: My mom = taiping ice kacang. Quite a huge bowl. Me = Pak Bou ice. Dad & bro = ice tea.

Both mee & hor fun is quite nice. V lov it. But da major dissappointment is da O Chien. Macam tak fresh aja… sigh!

Da expression of my mom when she listen 2 our birthday song & make a wish is priceless. Da joy fro her heart =) V did not ask wat her wish but i believe is a wish 4 each of my family member as well. I noe she hv suffer a lot due 2 him. God… May You answer it according 2 Ur time & will. May U bless my family wif health, joy, peace & lov. In da loving name of Jesus i pray…

Oh ya, b4 i end, i received an early Christmas gift fro someone tt i nvr expected 2day. Is from Ian, my boss’s kid. I think he’s around 10 yrs old. He has bought a Tomy car fro HK using his ER money! haha.. i was so touch =) He’s a very generous kid. He noe tt i lov car. Everytime he come 2 our office, he will come 2 my place & play wif my small lil car collection. He bought me da Toyota Vitz. Y Vitz? He say look like my car wor. ya meh? haha… so cute. Thank you,  Ian 4 ur good thought. May God bless u too… =)

Dual Mood

Yesterday nite i was suppose 2 attend our HC Christmas party & m da song leader =P

Was preparing my mood wif excitement bcoz can BBQ. Yummy! But suddenly my phone beep… 1 new msg received. Open it up & read it. Shock me off. Quickly i call Esther 2 verify something. Can’t get thru so i call another best friend of her, Alice. Confirmed is her. I was stunned. Izzit really true… how tis happened? sad… she will b my 2nd fren of mine passed away, sis Slyvia. My 1st is during my 1s yr of college if m not mistaken. M not close as Esther, Alice & others wif her. Not realy same batch but still we do hv fellowship. V hv lost contact a few yrs ago. Only recently when she attend one of my church member wedding, we met again & sad 2 say it is our very last time.

M still joining da HC party. After party, around 11pm v rush 2 da funeral place. b4 m go there, i oredi noe tt v not able 2 c her 4 one last time coz she has request her family member 2 seal da coffin. Reason being is becoz of da appearance. Her sickness has caused her 2 b so sick where she has lost a numerous amt of weight & skin condition has turn bad. She only weight 20kg… v meet her sis… get 2 noe da whole situation how thing happen. It was a sad case. no one noe abt her situation as she choose 2 hide it 4 various reason. Even fro her own family member… she stubbornly choose 2 end it rather than 2 heal it. I believe tt’s alot of negative factor tt push her 2 make tis decision. i will say she has choose wrongly. Til now i still dun understand o mayb i shall choose 2 say tt i dun wan 2 accept da fact how things could happen in tis way… but now, there’s is no turning bck… wat v can do now is continue 2 keep in touch wif our fren…

PC Fair III ‘08 Late Review

I use 2 go PC Fair but tis year not really. Reason being is tt somehow it clashed wif some1 wedding, church services & so on. So tis yr is my 1st time. I noe alot of ppl says PC fair price not much different fro LY plus all da crazy traffic involved whether is cars or people.  But stil i lov 2 go there haha.. so tt i can survey da prices & brands @ one time. @ da same time, c if there is any new gadgets or not.

I start my journey @ 2 something.. stil thinking whether i should drive there o take LRT. Take LRT will get rid of da traffic & parking prob but if i reali got buy something then it will b hard 4 me 2 carry thru in a sardin packed LRT plus it might rain. Decision decision decision… ok. Drive sajalah! Thank God no jam & quite easy 2 find parking.

B4 went 2 it, go KLCC ATM machine 2 cash out some money, knowing well tt KLGCC will b a lot of people lining up based on my previous experience. Always learned fro mistake. haha

Ok, start journey liao. Alot of ppl… 1st section, PC Guru, a section where you suppose 2 get expertise advice from gurus on how 2 choose da right PC 4 ur own. So i went in there @ da same is 2 c da new Intel® Core™ i7 Processor technology.  Right row consists of all types of notebook including netbook@mini notebook from various brand. Left row is where a few set of PC station placed. Each PC has a multiple LCD monitor 2 make up a big screen. One kid sitting there playing shooting game. Very smooth the 3D game. As i mention earlier in my post, i would like 2 own a netbook. So i ask da so called “expert” about da netbook comparison. He can’t really answer my question. *slap forehead*

Nvr mind, i went 2 2nd section, sound section where all sorts of speakers, headphones, earphones & related accessories r being sell there. I just walk 1 round.

Then next station is hall booth section. There is where my real hunting ground is. I promise 2 help my fren 2 buy FM MP3 modulator wif da cost of RM18. Is not easy coz most of the booth da selling price range is RM60 - RM22. But in LYN, someone did mention RM18. Wif a nvr give up spirit, i went thru da whole hall not once, twice but thrice! *fainted* Finally I hit da jackpot. There is one booth & i really believe is da only one booth tt selling it wif tt price. But too bad is not tilt version. My fren insist must hv tilt function. So no buy.

The design of da booths hv been keep 2 minimum. Big brands such as Sony jux using normal type booth & instead Celcom is da one having double storey booth.  Ppl mention Hall 5 is da worst coz all telcos promoter r there 2 grab ppl. Heard they say they r like wolves attacking sheep. haha.. so i try 2 avoid tt.. using da faster route 2 exit which is @ Hall 5! I survive! =P

Da top 3 hits items of tis PC fair are:
1) netbooks - range from RM840 - RM2200. High end will hv bluetooth features, bigger HDD space & longer battery span.

2) harga runtuh thumbdrive - RM88 4 16GB!

3) external HDD - 1T Maxtor r only RM380. If u r da 1st 100 customer, promo price RM299! Jux imagine how many movies you can store! =)

I, myself oso manage 2 buy wat i wan. Below is what i hv bought.

1) PROLINK Wireless keyboard & mouse combo - RM89
- PKL4794G 2.4GHz Wireless Desktop Combo
>> What i lov tis combo is da “Up 2 10 m working distance 2.4GHz 2 way fast digital RF” & micro receiver. Is really micro, almost same size as mini pendrive! m using now… very good. Lov it! Oh ya, Vista compatible as well. Perfect!

I actually wanna buy Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 2000 tt cost only RM119. Spill resistant & ergonomic design BUT the receiver is what turn me off. A huge receiver device.

2) Travel Kits cable - RM9
>> is not under my list actually becoz i dun noe abt tis thing. =P
I bought becoz i wan 2 replace my current portable HDD cable wif retractable type. But too bad is not working when i try it. I think mayb becoz not enuf power gua… so now trying 2 c can use in another way o not or else very wasted. Anyone wan 2 buy? hehe

3) USB Micro Bluetooth Dongle 2.0 - RM18
>> Tis is da lowest price i can get after comparing da rest. Normal price RM23 & above. M actually aiming da normal type one like pendrive size but then when i saw tis one… is cool! so short & mini! Vista compatible as well. Supports Bluetooth voice (A2DP) / data.  Works fine wif my baby HP. But one disadvantage, a main one 4 me… kenot multiple send files & choose da directory. I bought it 2 replace da almost ruined out USB cable. I guess i only will use it when i nid 2 transfer pic outside my hse. =)

4) 2.5″ external HDD leather pouch w/o casing - RM15
>> Initially wan 2 buy da casing as well but wan 2 minimize da cost. My enclosure, one of da end rosak liao. But now m using 3M crystal clear tape, tape around it & use tis pouch 2 protect it. Shuld b good enuf. 

5) 3M Stuff - RM3/set
>> 1 set - Yellow Post-it Notes w/ Crystal Clear Tape
>> 1 set - Yellow Post-it Noted w/ Glue Sticks
Is a good deal. Cheap sale!

Oh ya! did i mention i parked @ KLCC. Parking fee: RM9. sigh!

From 3 -7plus i hv been there. Feel very sick. I guess mayb becoz i drink very less water plus empty stomach. Oh ya! hard 2 breath environment as well. Tired. So i went bck home tapau “pork mee” 4 dinner. After a few spoons, kenot tahan liao, went 2 bed & sleep. Headache. In da middle of nite, wake up vomit pulak. *slap forehead* i was very worried coz i promise Sis Liz 2 become her backup singer. If i don come means no backup singer… but praise God tt i still able 2 wakes up & serve but after serving i drove bck home & rest. sigh! Lesson learned. No empty stomach & must bring one water bottle b4 start da journey.

2ndhand Serenade

Recently i hv came across a vocalist & guitarist acoustic rock solo John Vesely tt hv released albums under da name Secondhand Serenade. 1st heard his single “Fall for you” from da album called “A Twist in My Story”. Lov da song then slowly i dl almost all his songs. As i “wiki” him, i found one thing tt interest me. He has sold a whooping over 15,000 copies of his self debut album on his own. How he do it? He promoted it thru Myspace! He oso got play @ local shows. Then he start selling his songs from downloads. B4 tt CDs r sold thru mail order using Paypal b4 he signed w/ a distributor & his songs available in music portals including iTunes. Now his album is distributed thru Warners Independent Label Group. Da power of Internet, if u use it wisely, smartly.. it is possible 2 make ur dream comes true or even make a living from it. M still brainstorming on how 2 use Internet 2 build a new & out-of-box biz concept.

Political & Big G

sigh! wif all da national news thru out tis 2008 yr… they r more 2 humiliation act in da eys of da citizen rather than sumthing 2 b proud of or doing any good 2 our beloved country, Malaysia. dont get me wrong, I love Malaysia but obviously minus da political issues. Some say S’pore r much better off than us & so on.. well, 4 me, every1 alwiz c da grass 2 b greener @ da other side. 4 me, Malaysia is quite a peaceful & prosperous country throughout da century. No major effect fall upon da ppl such as national bankruptcy. But of course i do hope our G will b humble enuf 2 learn few tricks from our neighboring countries. Learn da good, 4sake da bad.

In da political world & big G, there use 2 hv a good unity in party. Now, is broken. every1 is trying 2 outdo someone. Healthy competition is good, but i can sense tt it is more 2 personal gain rather than 4 a bigger pic.
